Pennsylvania Rocks!

As in, I hate everything about it because my feet hurt so bad.

A stretch of trail in northern PA

I’m now in Wind Gap, and tomorrow should be my last full day of Pennsylvania. As of Duncannon I’ve been hiking with Deadwood and Echo. Echo started in early April so has been doing significantly larger miles than both Deadwood and I, but this is good as I’d like to hike faster the second half. For instance, my new record day is now 30.4 miles. We’ve toyed at breaking 40, but that’d be insane (probably start hiking at 4 am).

It’s quite late and I need my sleep, so I’m going to put some photos up with small captions, sorry for such a short post.

Knifes edge, one of the worst (or best) boulder fields.

Myself, Echo, and Deadwood

Ok, not all of PA is rocks.

Doing a resupply in Walmart. Hobos or hikers?

Climbing out of Lehigh Gap, one of the hardest climbs so far.
